John Witherspoon

John Weatherspoon was born on January 27, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan. He was an actor and comedian who was more likely known for his silly antics. Among the star’s popular acting credits are from the films The Five Heartbeats, Hollywood Shuffle, and Vampire in Brooklyn. He also starred in numerous TV projects, including The Tracy Morgan Show, The First Family, and Black Jesus.

His long-running career in the entertainment industry commenced in the 1960s and 1970s. John began liking comedy at this time and eventually became a stand-up comedian. Because of this job, he started being friends with popular personalities such as Jay Leno, David Letterman, and Tim Reid. Apart from his life in the limelight, he had been married to Angela Robinson since 1988, and they had two children. On October 29, 2019, the comedian took his last bow at his residence in Sherman Oaks, California. He was 77 years old and was resting at Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
