STACY KEACH, 80 YEARS OLD

Stacey Keach, now 80 years old, is the perfect example of a character becoming the person and vice versa. People used to stop Keach in airports and ask him whether he was Mike Hammer, which he played in three different TV series from 1958 to 1998. Then, in a couple of hilarious circumstances, he was asked whether he was Stacey Keach because some fans commonly identified him as Mike Hammer.

He has shown great acting prowess. Whether you give him the role of a lawyer or a detective or even a father, it’s guaranteed that you’d get a great performance out of him. In fact, for his many contributions, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was also inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame. It was not all smooth-sailing for the actor, though, as he also had personal struggles, which he acknowledged and worked on. Also, part of his advocacy is serving as Honorary Chairman of the Cleft Palate Foundation.
